nerdfighter art (2024)

each year i re-design a set of john & hank green quotes. every february they put on a fundraising event called project for awesome. one of the ways you can donate is buy purchasing ‘perks’, one of the perks is a nerdfighter art perk. i always print my annual re-designs into prints & send them to dftba for them to send out to people who have donated!

taylor swift keychains

the janglier a keychain the better in my opinion.
i love making art inspired by music i enjoy, but i’ve always been looking for a new way to do that without just using my lettering skills to draw out lyrics from songs. this year, inspired by my own obnoxiously loud keychain i’m always carrying, i came up with the idea to illustrate keychains based on different songs & albums! i love getting to come up with ideas for lots of different baubles & individual keychains & dangly beads.

chappell roan keychains

adding on to the idea of keychains based on music i like… i came up with the idea to complete a project in which i designed a different keychain for each song on chappell roan’s debut album the rise and fall of a midwest princess. i designed 14 keychains, one for each song. i tried to keep the colors & styles consistent throughout the whole project.
